Our Team

Mr. Steve Lambert
Director
A native New Yorker with ties to the health industry for over a decade, our director, Steve Lambert has always valued mental health and wellness. After receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management, Mr. Lambert dedicated his time to his clients while working for the City of New York in their Mental Health Division. Little did he know, that very job would turn into a life long passion.
A few years into working for the city, Mr. Lambert decided to further his passion by focusing on developmental health establishing an early educational readiness center for the youth, infancy through elementary.
After 10 years working with children he wanted to not only aide the youth but offer assistance to adolescence and adults as well to widen his efforts. It is through this work, and the relationships that developed with mental health advocates and agencies that Steps 2 Better Living started to take form; to offer customized services and provide care for each individual’s special and unique needs.

Ms. Patience Key
Director of Operations
A native of Ohio and the heart of our company is our director of operation who has a name that embodies her persona. Patience has dedicated her entire life to caring for others. As a young girl her favorite pass time was playing school. Teaching the younger children in her family and community how to read, write, and creating outdoor adventures for them. She carried that love with her as she entered the field of early childhood education at the age of 18, working under the Hamilton County Community Action Agency.
After working with their Headstart program for 2 years, Patience was offered the opportunity to work in aviation. She used that platform to travel the world learning how to teach and communicate with individuals from various different backgrounds.
During her time spent in aviation Patience met our Director Steve and was given an amazing opportunity to help restructure his early educational readiness centers. Though this collaboration along with those various health and developmental agencies Steps 2 Better Living began.
